Created by automotive designer Harry Bentley Bradley, this radically customized vehicle is powered by a rear-mounted 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado V-8 that produces 395-horsepower. Bradley began building Blind Faith in 1973 and completed the innovative car ten years later. An earlier version of this custom creation, which Bradley conceived while working as a designer for General Motors in 1965, served as the prototype for the all-new 1968 production El Camino. When Mattel Toys hired Bradley in 1966 to design the first series of 16 “Hot Wheels” cars, he used this El Camino as inspiration for the distinctive Hot Wheels “look.”
