Alright You Guys!!!! Can I safely lower a 1967 GMC shortbed 2 or 3 inches without converting to Disc Brakes and/or Power Steering? Truck is hauler for my antique Sportster, so there will be 4 or 5 hundred pounds in the bed sometimes...
Howza 'Boutit??? What can I do to GIT DOWN???

You should be able to put the coil kit from CPP on and be golden..Ask Aaron about the 4 or 5 hundred Ib.

you may want to consider air bags for the rear. You can get it done yourself fairly cheep. you don't have to get a air tank and compressor kit. to keep it in a budget just buy a universal kit and custom fab them yourself if you have a welder and means to cut a 4 inch round pipe. the kit comes with two airbags left/right four mounting plates one top and one bottom x2 for left/right side and 4inch round stock to cut to length for the desired ride hight. then you can fill them up with air from a bike pump or a gas station air pump with a air valve kit you can purchase instead of a compressor kit. CPP can sell you this made by Ride Tech.
