Any chance that CPP will be making a rack and pinion setup available for the 1949-54 Chevy cars? I know I saw a kit before that used a mid 90's GM rack and pinion. I have seen another company that is already making a rack setup for the 1953-62 Corvette using the GM rack and making brackets to attach it to the frame.

What we have available is the TCI Mustang II front end... The cross member bolts in and the upper spring towers weld on. Easy install and gives you a rack, tubular control arms and disc brakes! The best of all worlds with all upgrades for under $1800.00... Great setup!

I have already used your disc brake conversion, would like to update the steering to a rack and pinion. I see it is offered for the 55-57 cars but seems to be nothing for the 49-54 Cheyv cars. I used a rack and pinion setup on a 1938 Chrysler and the car drive great with disc brakes but still usign the stock front suspension. Maybe someone will make a kit for people that want to keep there original suspension. I know there is a rack and pinion kit for the 53-62 Corvette which also used the same suspension but the frame is setup different.
