I ordered a front disc brake kit, 5564 DBK through Speedway Motors. They gave no indication on what the best way to plumb brake lines, nor did they offer to sell me a brake line kit. (I asked). I am converting from 4 wheel manual drums so the lines are all in series from left front to right front to rear.
What is the best way to plumb the lines? Who offers a kit to accomplish this?

If you are running power disc we offer a line kit #5864FLK-OM that will set you up.

I ordered the brake lines from you yesterday and didn't think to ask if you supply plugs to block off the ports in the junction blocks that will go unused.

Its only 1 port that needs to be plugged with a 1/4" plug. That is not included. I can add one to your order?

I would have thought it would be the both of the ports that used to go to the front wheels that would have to be blocked.

no, the front drivers side hard line runs direct to the hose and the junction block is taken out on that side.

Banjo fittings are leaking. How tight should I be torquing them? I have them at 25 ft/lb and don't dare go tighter. This stuff always happens on the weekend.

40-45ft/lbs on a new set of washers. dont be afraid of snapping the bolt. It will be fine at that torque value.

I had found somewhere 32 was the number and I put them to that and they seem to have stopped leaking. I will snug them up a little more now. I should be driving tomorrow!
Thanks Aaron for all of your help...on a weekend no less. Awesome service!
