Squeaking New Brakes

I've converted the drum front brakes of my 65 Impala SS to new CPP power disc brakes and after 300+ miles still have a high pitch squeel noise that starts after I have driven 5 or so miles. Is it caused form a low grade pad?

Sounds like either you picked up a small pebble in the pad (whatever side is making noise pull the pads and take a look) or you just have not fully seated the pads yet. New disc brakes make all kinds of noise till stuff seats.
