CP3010 Push Rod Clearance to Master Cylinder

Have a new hydraulic assist with master cyl. The push rod is too long aprox 3/16. This is part CP3010 MCPV. This is creating a preload on the brake system. Any thoughts? Thanks

You want to have a 1/32"-1/16" of free play between the 2. Depending on the master you are using you want to get that gapping correct so the pre-load goes away.
