We are in the midst of trying to put some CP4S4 spindles in the shop truck, an '86 GMC C1500. The spindles been laying around for years from a project that went a different direction. What we are seeing is that all the ball joint tapers are different than what is on the truck. Also, the tech line seems to be inoperative. Maybe it's long weekend time? We'd sure like to know if we can buy ball joints and tie rod ends that will work.
UPDATE: Many CPP spindles have the same casting number: CP4S4. But that doesn't mean they are part number CP4S4. We have the wrong spindles! Make sure you retain the original box so you know exactly what you have.
