OK, here goes.
I installed the CPP hydro boost unit on my '71 Cutlass Supreme. No mods to the power steering pump. It works well, but I have two issues.
One, the most concerning, is a "whinning" noise when I accelerate. It sounds almost like a fan belt noise, that starts high pitched and lowers until it stops. It also sounds as if the hydro boost is "pressurizing" and then the noise stops. Anyone have any idea what is going on?
The second, is that it appears that there is no port for my brake pressure switch on the master cylinder. I'm looking for sugestions on how to resolve this issue as well.
