The T39B-1 fork has a 5/8-inch opening that’s designed to remove tire rod ends and shock lines, while the T39B-2 fork uses a 15/16-inch opening for ball joint service. A quick exchange pin with a safety clip allows the fork to be replaced quickly.
The tool weighs 11 pounds with a fork installed and features a rubber safety grip drive handle and vibration-absorbing rubber grip on the outer tube to protect the operator from shock and provide a slip-free grasp, said the company. Additionally, a protective flange sits at the top of the tube to help prevent pinching the technician’s hands.
