      Built by Bud Moore from one of four "Body-in-White" shells left over from Kar Kraft, this 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Trans Am racer is one of three constructed for the 1971 season, in which Moore cars finished in the top four spots in thirteen races. Driven by Peter Gregg, the number 16 car scored five podium finishes. After the 1971 season it was sold and competed in SCCA regional racing in Atlanta, and later was donated to the ARM mechanic school in Indianapolis. It competed once again from 1977 to 1981 in SCCA A/Sedan racing before being restored in 1985. It was then raced in vintage events in California and restored once again in 1995. It has been a regular attraction at vintage races ever since, even appearing at the 2012 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. This historically significant Bud Moore Boss 302 is documented with a complete history and period photographs by prominent automotive photographer and historian Pete Lyons.
