      This SMALL BLOCK (Short water pump) Bracket system is designed for the small block Chevelle using the SHORT WATER PUMP only. Brackets bolt to water pump, first and third exhaust manifold points and two bottom holes of drivers side engine block. Some headers may not work or require a slight bracket modification to clear front header tube (See side view of bracket mounted with headers). Will work with tall valve covers.

      John Kaase Racing Engines has released its latest Boss Nine engine design that features a new intake manifold with a hidden plenum below and stack injection above.
      The new stack-injected Boss Nine engine’s hidden plenum helps to equalize the pressures in all induction tracts and provides the engine with a clean, consistent idle, better part-throttle performance and instantaneous throttle response, according to the company. The plenum also provides for brake vacuum and empowers the MAP sensor, which has a major influence in the metering of the fuel.
      The Boss Nines are available from 429 to 600 cu and are constructed with either a cast iron or a cast aluminum engine block and topped with Kaase’s hemi cylinder heads. The engines were developed using four intake manifolds. They accept 4150 and 4500-style carburetors, as well as Keith Wilson’s EFI systems and various BDS blower units.

      Edelbrock has introduced new E-Street Power Package Top End Kits for the for small-block Chevy, big-block Chevy and small-block Ford engines. The Top End kits include an Edelbrock Performer or Performer RPM intake manifold, E-Street cylinder heads, a Performer Plus hydraulic camshaft with lifters, a timing chain and gear set, gasket sets and all necessary hardware needed for installation. According to Edelbrock, in dyno testing, the small-block Chevy kit on a 350 cid short block with an Edelbrock Performer Series 600 cfm carburetor resulted in 315 horsepower and 381 ft./lbs. of torque with pump gas.

      In 2011 the MSD 6A and 6AL will be all new! New digital control. New power. New rotary dial rev limiter. Same great MSD style. The ignitions have been redesigned from the ground up with the performance enthusiast in mind.

      The engineers put all digital controls inside so that the box delivers more power while drawing less current from the vehicle’s electrical system. Then we added a sealing, locking connector that all of the wires are routed through to add to the clean look and make installations even easier. Finally, for the 6AL the rev limiter was turned into two rotary dials and moved to the face of the ignition for easy adjustment in 100 rpm increments.
