Over 3,000 hours of craftsmanship produced this stunning custom 1957 Chevy Bel Air “SS” Roadster. Featured by Eaton at the 2009 SEMA show, this vehicle features a 550 hp supercharged Gen 3 LS1 crate motor complemented by a Comp Cams valvetrain including lifters, pushrods, and rockers. From there, the spark is supplied by a complete MSD ignition system. The LS1 is mated to a GM 4L60 automatic transmission with power to the rear wheels supplied by a Dutchman independent hybrid 12-bolt GM rear end with an Eaton Posi. Up front is a Heidt’s independent front suspension including polished stainless A-Arms and a set of 2-inch dropped spindles. This is further complemented by a Ride Tech Shockwave air ride suspension system at all 4 corners. Colorado Custom billet wheels are all around the car, with 20 x 8 in the front and 20 x 9-1/2 in the rear wrapped in redline tires. Behind those are cross-drilled, slotted, and E-Coated Wilwood disc brakes with 14-inch rotors.
Complete custom powder coated chassis, shaved door handles, shaved trunk lock and emblems, smoothed firewall, one-piece blind-fastened custom inner fenders, custom radiator cover also serves as a cold air intake, custom airbrushed emblems, custom polished billet aluminum trunk hinges, custom trunk floor showcasing 800 watt amplifier, rear inner tubs were notched for custom trunk upholstery, shaved rear bumper guards, custom 1-piece narrowed rear bumper, lower quarter lip modified to match bumper bottom, rear bumper notched for exhaust tips. The interior features custom designed Italian red leather with Mercedes red wool carpeting, custom airbrushed door sill plates, custom designed center console, redline steering wheel, custom brake and gas pedals.
