1961 Chevrolet Impala Coupe 'Bubbletop'

The Classic Chevy Pick at the Goodguys Fall 2012 Del Mar, California Nationals, this custom restoration was done with virtually no expense spared over an 18-month period. It features a classic and nostalgic look with unique modern upgrades. The fully performance-built 383 cu. in. stroker engine was equipped with gear drive, Scorpion performance roller rocker arms, and rare 1960s-vintage Corvette 2.5-inch exhaust manifolds sending spent gases to a Flowmaster 2.5-inch dual exhaust system. A four-speed manual transmission, dual electric fans, four-wheel power disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors and huge Wilwood front calipers, round out the great mechanical features, while 2-inch dropped spindles up front and 2-inch dropped coils at the rear provide the nasty stance.

Many exterior parts were shaved and/or modified for a unique and sleek overall look, and the car is equipped with a rare set of one-piece front and rear bumpers. The exterior is finished in arresting PPG Classic Lamborghini Yellow with Irridescent Pearl, finished to a laser-straight, glass-like finish. The interior is fully customized with upholstery from an Infiniti and done in a lavish Ivory Beige. The amazing entertainment system features a built-in 7-inch touch screen DVD/ CD/MP3 player with iPpod 3.5 and memory-card slot. This is a one-of-a-kind, award-winning showstopper that must be seen to appreciate.
