A fresh, frame-up “nut and bolt” restoration and customization of an original steel-bodied F100, riding on a powder-coated frame with a custom suspension equipped with coil-over shocks and an anti-sway bar. Power is delivered by a rebuilt 351 Windsor V-8 with a Shelby retro-influenced look and performance, and equipped with a four-barrel Holley carburetor and Sanders jet-coated headers feeding a custom exhaust system exiting through the pickup’s step. The 8.8-inch rear end assembly is fitted with a finned cover. An aluminum radiator ensures the vehicles runs nice and cool. Handling is excellent, and the F100 is further equipped with four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering. stainless-steel drop-down Optima battery with remote charger location, all-new Rebel wiring, custom throttle and linkage, and an aluminum fuel tank.
The F100’s cab is equipped with total heat and sound insulation and a CPP tilt hood, plus a new cargo bed and Ford-scripted tailgate with hidden latches. The bed flooring and unique removable rails are custom-built of African Ribboned Mahogany with hidden stainless-steel bolts. The interior features fabulous seats with black leather and vinyl upholstery, custom woodwork, upholstered door panels, and black carpeting. One-piece electric windows, tinted glass, Old Air Products heating and air conditioning, all-new lights and switches, electric wipers, an aluminum billet dash with six VDO gauges, and a custom tilt banjo wheel with horn and turn signals are among the highly desirable upgrades. Riding on American Racing 17-inch wheels with BFG Radial T/A 225/65R17 tires, this excellent F100 is ready to enjoy.
