The artillery-style wheel—a popular design in the late ’30s—is now available manufactured out of billet aluminum by retro wheel-specialist Wheel Vintiques. Initially available in a 16-inch diameter with a 51/2-inch rim width, the Wheel Vintiques Artillery wheel is available with 5 on 41/2-; 5 on 43/4-; 5 on 5; and 5- on 51/2-inch bolt patterns. OEM-type lug nuts are used. Because these wheels are custom-made to order, there may be some flexibility from standard backspacing. A polished aluminum finish is standard for the 96 Series Artillery, with an optional “V8” cap adding to its unique appearance.
