Dupont introduces three new performance additives—DuPont Fuel Injector Cleaner, Fuel System Cleaner and Engine Treatment. DuPont’s new Fuel Injector Cleaner is available in 12- and 20-ounce sizes, and contains Wearshield as well as advanced detergents for cleaning fuel injectors, carburetors and intake valves. DuPont’s Fuel System Cleaner is available in a 16-ounce package and is formulated to help reduce compression loss and sticking valves by removing carbon, dirt and other contaminants from the combustion chamber and fuel system components.
DuPont Engine Treatment is a formula featuring detergents that help break down sludge and other deposits in the oil pan. According to the company, this formula also helps improve engine efficiency, restore lost compression and prevent the build-up of high-temperature sludge, carbon and harmful acids.
