As an automotive historian and researcher, I have many fond memories of my parents 1957 Ford Fairlane 500. Back in 1963, when I was only five years old, my mother took my two sisters and I to visit a Ford Dealership located on Gratiot Avenue in Detroit, Michigan. New to this event is Early-Bird Thursday. By attending on Thursday, anyone interested in looking for a deal as part of the swap meet or car corral can get a jump on those who may not arrive until Friday or later. Admission costs apply for Thursday, however; there is no charge for parking in Carlisle owned and operated lots.
