New 11-Inch Internal Drum E-Brake Rear Kit From Wilwood

Wilwood Engineering has just released its new 11-inch Internal Drum E-Brake Rear Kit, which is designed for use on original muscle cars, street rods, classic trucks and other specialty vehicles that are running smaller diameter rear wheel sizes.

The kit will work well with all 15-inch diameter wheels, as well as many 14-inch wheels that are designed to clear disc brakes, said the company. The brake kit features Wilwood’s special internal drum parking brake design that allows for an efficient parking brake system to will hook into the stock parking brake cable system.

The kit features a forged billet Dynalite caliper with a choice of Platinum –E, red, black and polished finish. It also includes an 11-inch rotor that will work with the car’s internal brake assembly. The rotor is available in a standard smooth design, or slotted and drilled for a more aggressive appearance, said the company.

Wilwood’s new kit has been designed to fit all of the rear axle assemblies that the company offers rear brake kits for, as well as for the stock Tri-5 Chevy axles. The forged billet Dynapro caliper in this kit will work with all of Wilwood’s front brake kits.
