71 chevelle drum to disc
Okay I have this kit sitting in the garage for awhile now I always wanted to start it but hessitant
Cus of few things I hear I needed to do.
1.something about drilling a hole bigger not sure where and size.
2.bench bleeding(I don't have a table vise)can I do this while its mounted
And use the pedal to actuate it instead of screwdriver while on a vise?
3.kit came with 2 diffferent style to use for deep/shallow bore?
Any help would be great guys, what to do and not to do.
Iam thinking of starting it sometime today.

1. steering arm holes (stock bolt hole is 7/16) you need to ream them to 1/2.
2.This is important; this needs to be done on a bench vise. Pickup an inexpensive one at a harbor freight tools or sears! Without doing this you will always have a spongy brake pedal if you do it on the car. You need to make sure you can fully depress the piston.
3. The Booster pin in a DEEP bore master is going to be the long pin, In a shallow bole master it is going to be the short pin. The space between the master and the booster pin does not want to pre-load (Pre engage) You want a 1/32-1/16" gap between the two.
Easy as that! Feel free to email/call with any questions
