I have replaced a Mustang II manual steering rack with a CPP power steering rack and pinion.
after installing the tyrod ends, I discovered that the travel on the power steering rack only has 1" of travel on each side where the manual rack and pinion I took off has 2 1/2 inches of travel. Have I done something wrong?
