Thread: Master cyl question and brake booster question

Default Master cyl question and brake booster question

I have a 1963 Impala with drum brakes all the way around. I have a dual master cyl on the car now with a 1" bore. My wheel cylinders are 1" on all 4 wheels. I want to put a 9" brake booster on the car. Should I get a 9" duel booster or a 9" signal booster?
Also should I stay with the 1" size master cylinder with the brake booster?

    Thanks Dan

From past experience; run a 9" single... The Dual booster could be a bit touchy of a brake pedal. The 1" bore will work fine...

    Thanks
I will go with a 9" single booster with a 1"bore master cylinder.
