Default 2" drop spindles... Wish they were 1" drop..

So with my 17x9" wheels, with stock springs I only have 2" of clearance, before i will have troubles turning the wheels at the stock height.. I want to do a spindle drop. I'm not a fan of lowering springs. I'm a tech at an auto repair shop, and will be doing my own custom alignment, and the springs mess with the geometry too much. I was wondering if i did install the 2" spindles, and installed big block stock springs would it raise the suspension some? I had a 67' elky that had bbc springs with a sbc and it was quite a bit higher. What do you all think?

    Good Morning,

the big block coils will increase the spring rate but pertaining to the height difference this typically will not raise the car just the spring rate.
