    Default Steering upgrades

On a 56 Bel Air is it better, cheaper, easier do install power rack and pinion or power recirculating ball ?

And when you need to buy everything it takes for these conversions, how much do they cost.

Thanks in advance as I am a new member and the Forum will not allow me to respond to threads

500 Series Power Steering Boxes for Chevrolet

The CPP 500 Series box is the way to go! Rack and pinions are more money and require more modifiation to use. The Header clearance for the steering hookup is a challenge being a rear steer setup.

So with the new steering box it has the ease of installation + half the cost! Also, better road feel, turning radius, and all and all a much better setup.
