Hi all, just wound up with a 1966 GMC project. I will have lots of questions and hopefully have a few answers too. Been a mechanic most of my life but this is my first restore.

Truck needs a steering column so right now I'm looking at rebuilding the OEM column, not sure I want to spend the big bucks on an ididit or flaming river column even though they are the way to go, just darned expensive!
