Default 58-64 Chevy Dual Master Cyl

    Hi all,
I have a 1966 Chev Impalla that had power drum brakes. I am converting it over to front disc and have encountered a problem. The instruction sheet that came with the master cylinder states 58-64 Chev Dual Master Cyl. Will this work on my 66 or do I need a different one. Second to make it work do I have to remove the small plunger that comes with the cyl in order to allow the original brake push rod (adjustable) that is part of the origional vacuum assy to be used.
    Thanks for any help.

This is the same part for 55-70 cars. As for the master cylinder adapter "bullet" yes, this can be removed if you are running a long pin booster. That is the nice thing about the adapter; it makes the master work for both power and manual brake.

Thanks for the quick answer, figured that was the purpose of the bullit but better sure than screwed when it comes to brakes.
    Thanks again
