    Question Brakes

I have aquired a combination Master&power brake unit handled by CPP in my 32 Ford and my brakes have DRAG enough to hold the car back some when running down the road. I've found (1) residual vavle to the rear was installed backwards which I've corrected now what I need to know is there a certain measurement between the power booster rod and the rear of the master in your units? I've been told .040

1/32-1/16" free play between the mooster pin and the master.
