Default 64 C10 SB Rear drop

Hi guys, I`ve had the CPP 5-inch drop springs in the rear of my `64 fleet side for quite a while now, I`ve just installed a rear frame tank which now adds another 130 lbs in the rear, now knowing that I was limited on the weight capacity as it was I now want to correct it , looking the RSC603 HD springs 4-inch drop would these allow me carry more weight in the bed as I still use it as a truck...your opinion would be appreciated.

the 4" HD rear spring would be perfect for towing and higher load capacities.

Hey 406rich, Did you end up installing the 4" hd lowering springs? I would like your opinion on the difference in load carrying capacity and ride.

Thanks for your reply. I have attached 2 photos showing my set up. The way it looks to me, I need to fabricate a new lower shock mount that would move the Base of the shock forward by about 2 inches. Is this common?thanks.
