    Default 1968 Nova Brake Problem

    Hello All:

I bought CPP's Drop Spindle Complete Front Brake Kit (part #E6474FBP-D11) without the drop spindles because I had already ordered them at a previous time. The problem I am having is that the caliper bracket doesn't seem to fit the spindle snuggly enough and is making the dust shield crooked, which is making the rotor crooked on the spindle. I am worried that the brake calipers that came with the kit aren't compatible with the 2" drop spindles. This is my first time messing with the brakes of my car, so I am a noob at this. Some instructions would have greatly helped, but none came with the kit. And I could not find any relevant information online. I was thinking about widening the holes on the dust shield to try to make it fit better, or maybe cutting up the caliper brackets, but they are like $100 by themselves and would rather not. Can anyone offer any ideas or suggestions?
