Thread: Brake Line routing

    Default Brake Line routing

I'm a little confused about the proper routing of brake lines from the MC to the wheels. I have seen the rear port from the MC to the front brakes and others charts using the front ports to the front brakes, expecially when using a proportioning valve. I understand with a disc brake MC that has a large and small reservoir the large one in the rear is for the front disc brakes, but what about a MC that has equal size ports for drum brakes? I have seen disc MC with equal size reservoirs also. Does it not matter when both are the same size? Thanks. Roy
