Default Pinch Style vs. Set Screw U-Joints

Why would one select a pinch style or a set screw style u-joint over the other. Is one safer? Does one attache more securly?

they both are secure type U-joints. With the set screw type you will spot drill the steering shaft so it allows the set screw to lock into the steering shaft. The set screw types are also narrower by design and are a better fit for tighter applications
